Noah Allen Hays was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He loved his family fiercely. Noah was a high school athlete, he loved playing Lacrosse for Providence High School. He loved being part of a team and his leadership skills were soon discovered, and he was made Captain of his team. Noah loved playing Fortnite with his friends, Texas Hold’em, watching Game of Thrones, and Rap Music. He could spit out sports statistics better than any ESPN Sports commentator. He dreamed of attending the University of Tennessess and studying sports journalism.
Noah was diagnosed with Stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2015 at the age of 16. He battled cancer for 3 years until his body was just too tired. Noah passed on June 3, 2018 – just a few weeks after his 19th birthday.
The most important thing about Noah was that he had HOPE. He had hope for his future, hope for his family’s future, hope for a better tomorrow. His hope ignited hope in everyone around him. He was a special young man.
Noah’s family created The NoahStrong Foundation as a way to keep his memory shining bright. They provide support to pediatric cancer patients and their families in Noah’s memory.
