Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center offers free 1:1 counseling, case management (financial), and support groups for patients, family and caregivers.
The Novant Health Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center is a space designed to help you and your family in the time following a diagnosis. The center is in a comfortable, home-like setting close to the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center campus, near uptown Charlotte. At the center you’ll find special programs and support, as well as services that aim to help you look and feel your best.
Services are provided by a team of counselors and case managers who are specially trained to treat cancer; they provide individual and family counseling, support groups and special events, educational programs, financial resource guidance, a resource library, and a lending boutique with beautiful wigs for cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemo treatments.
Whether you seek counseling for yourself or your loved ones, are concerned about paying your bills, or have an interest in learning more about the journey ahead, Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center has experts available to help. Their support services are free and available to anyone in the community regardless of insurance, physician or hospital affiliation.
